The numbers drawn in last Monday [04THApril] night’s Lotto were 04 17 19 23. DIVISION 3 HURLING LEAGUE

Raheen Hurlers maintained their unbeaten start to the year but again had to settle for a draw in their second game of the Div 3 League campaign against Ballinamere last Sunday morning in Geashill on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-13. Raheen got off to the ideal start when with their first attack Cathal Maher ran through from midfield and buried the ball in the net for the only goal of the game followed immediately by a point from Paddy Rigney. Thereafter for the remainder of the half Raheen displayed some fine attacking play as they put over 7 points from Paddy Rigney (6), Cathal Maher and Eanna Direen with Ballinamere getting off the mark with 6 points which saw Raheen lead at halftime by 1-08 to 0-06. In the second half Ballinamere tightned up their defence as Raheen could just manage to put over another 2 points from Paddy Rigney and ballinamere themselves sent over the 7 points they needed to draw level.
