Clara played Carraig/Riverstown on Saturday last in Clara and lost on a score line of 1-14 to 0-12. U21 A Hurling Championship Well done to Darren Scanlon, Barry Cushen, Martin Hackett, Eoin Wyer and Liam Monaghan who were a part of the Ballinamere Gaels team that beat St Rynaghs in the U21 A Hurling Championship Quarter Final
Weekly Club Lotto Weekly Lotto 2-April-11. There was no winner of the weekly club Lotto jackpot. The winning numbers were 6-8-15-21. There were nine match three winners. These were Clodagh, Diarmuid and Niamh, Jill Monaghan, Fergal Moran, Sean Molony, Billy Digan, Claire Hanamy, PJ Fleming, Esther Fleming and Joe Power. Next weeks lotto takes place in Dolans and the Jackpot is €4850. Thanks to all who support our lotto and thanks to all our ticket sellers.
Membership Membership for the year 2011 is now due. Membership for the following year 2011 is the same as 2010.

Monday Night Coaching There is Monday night coaching for all 6-14 year olds, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
UNDERAGE OUTDOOR HURLING TRAINING
Underage hurling training resumes on Thurs April 7th at 6.20pm to 7.30 in Pairc Phroinsias, Kilcoursey U6/U8 outdoor training will take place on the small field nearest the dressing rooms. U10s will train on the new field behind the girls school, U12s will train up at the chapel hill field and U14/U16s will train on the main floodlit pitch
All players are asked to attend on time and bring hurl/helmet/shinguards. Hurls and helmets will be available for sale from Orla Dolan before training. As there will be a large crowd, parking will be a problem espeically as the Offaly panel will also be arriving to train at 7.45pm on the main field. We would encourage people to park in front of the convent building and please be careful of all our children coming and going.
HURLING COACHING
John Leahy, Offaly coaching and games Promotion Officer will attend Pairc Phroinsias, Kilcoursey tonite, Wednesday 6th at 7pm to give a talk and tips to all hurling mentors. Anyone that would like to come along and help out with any of the above teams we would encourage to also attend this session. All our underage hurling teams are training on Thursday nite, we would really appreciate some extra help.
ST FRANCIS BOYS NS HURLING
Well done to Clara boys NS hurling team on a hard fought victory versus Killeigh NS in Clara last Thurs. A large crowd was in attendence to witness an end to end thriller with Clara edging it 7-5 to 5-5 in the end. It was a fast skillful game and both teams must be complemented for their effort. Clara will play Ballinamere next.
Bingo The Jackpot of €500 must be won every week.
Yearly Lotto No matter where you live in the world, you can join the yearly lotto. As a former member , player or resident of Clara, we appeal to you to enter this so that we can finish the final phase of development in our main grounds in Kilcoursey, which we hope to officially open later on this year. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Yearly Lotto Subscription The yearly Lotto subscription of €75 for the year 2011 is now due and can be paid to any committee member. If there is anybody who is living away and would like to subscribe to the Lotto, please contact any member of the committee.
