Division 1 Football League Clara played St Brigids in Croughan on Friday night last and won on a scoreline of 2-11 to 0-5. Division 2 Football League Clara played Kilclonfert on Sunday in Kilclonfert and lost on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-9. Weekly Club Lotto Weekly Lotto 12-Mar-11. There was no winner of the weekly club Lotto jackpot. The winning numbers were 4-6-15-25. There were six match three winners. These were Nuala Kinahan, Baggots, Joe Kelly, Michael Gavin, Tracey McGrath and Imelda Sheridan . Next weeks lotto takes place in The Mill and the Jackpot is €4400. Thanks to all who support our lotto and thanks to all our ticket sellers.
Membership Deadline All players who intend playing for the club in 2011 must have their membership paid by St. Patricks Day the 17th March. After this date no player will be played if they have not got their membership paid.
Membership Membership for the year 2011 is now due. Membership for the following year 2011 is the same as 2010.

Under 14 Hurling Presentation Night. Last Saturday night we celebrated our hurlers fine achievement in becoming county champions. The medals were presented to our players and mentors by Offaly captain Shane Dooley who despite being injured took time from his busy schedule to help us recognise the teams achievement. Many thanks must go to those who made cakes and sandwiches and helped with the decoration of our hall. We would like to wish this fine group of players every success in the future.
Teenage Disco. There will be a teenage disco in the gaa centre on wednesday 16th March. It begins at 8.30 until 11.30 and costs €5. It will,as always, be well supervised and we look forward to a fun night.
Signed Hurley Raffle. We have a hurley signed by the famous 4 in-a-row kilkenny team. This will be raffled in Dolans bar at 6pm on St. Patricks Day. Tickets cost €2 or 3 for €5. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire a fine piece of memorabilia and we ask that you support your club. Tickets are available from any committee member.
Indoor Hurling Under Tens. Training has been moved from this Thursday to Friday evening at same times 7pm and 8pm.
U16 Football U16 football training will take place this Saturday at 3pm in Mannering
Minor Football Training Training for Minors will take place on Monday at 6.15pm in Kilcoursey. Minor League starting soon. Players must become members. Attendance important.
Monday Night Coaching There is Monday night coaching for all 6-14 year olds, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Last Monday Joe Quinn gave a talk to our players about nutrition and health which was greatly appreciated and well received by all players and parents.
Bingo The Jackpot of €500 must be won every week.
Yearly Lotto No matter where you live in the world, you can join the yearly lotto. As a former member , player or resident of Clara, we appeal to you to enter this so that we can finish the final phase of development in our main grounds in Kilcoursey, which we hope to officially open later on this year. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Yearly Lotto Subscription The yearly Lotto subscription of €75 for the year 2011 is now due and can be paid to any committee member. If there is anybody who is living away and would like to subscribe to the Lotto, please contact any member of the committee.
