Ritzy’s Supporting Phoenix Project
Teresa Connolly and all the staff at Ritzy’s Hair salon are gearing up for a mega fundraising day on Sunday 13th March in aid of the Phoenix Project in the Clubhouse at Leah Victoria Park. This project was set up in late 2009 to help families cope with the effects of the global financial crisis. It will provide financial advice and assistance to clients who are encountering financial and emotional difficulties. It focuses particularly on people who feel there is no way out. One of its aims is to provide confidential support to clients and their families with respect and dignity. Willam Prior and Liam McMahon were in Tullamore on Saturday last to help launch the project. They were delighted when Molly Buckley (Councillor) also gave her time and support for the project. Teresa and her team were winners of the National Salon of the Year at the Schwarzkopf business awards last October. As an astute business woman she appreciates that times are tough for many families and feels this project is ‘for the people by the people’ and is one hundred percent behind it. Willam Prior (Director and Chairman) thanked Teresa and her staff for their support. He also confirmed that the office for the Midlands region is now open at The Waterfront Offices, French Church Street, Portarlington, Co Laois. Contact numers are Tel: (057) 8636830 / 8636831.
