Green Energy Plant to provide 265 new jobs in Offaly

Offaly gets a welcome jobs boost as Biotricity Ltd will create 265 new jobs over the coming years. Biotricity is building a new green energy plant in Rhode, Co. Offaly which will generate enough energy for 5000 homes. The €40 million plant will be powered by Irish grown willow.
The announcement was made by the Taoiseach Brian Cowen. 200 people will be employed in the construction of the plant and 65 staff will be employed on completion.
