Weekly Club Lotto
Weekly Lotto 18/09/10-There was no winner of the weekly club Lotto jackpot. The winning numbers were 1-12-21-23. There were four match three winners and they were Emily and Fergal Moran, Sarah and Jack Reynolds, Arlene Kane and B Feery/O’Connor. Next weeks lotto takes place in Baggots and the Jackpot is €4700. Thanks to all who support our lotto and thanks to all our ticket sellers.
Intermediate Hurling Championship
Clara bowed out of this years IHC when they were well beaten by a very strong St Rynaghs team at the quarter final stage played in Moystown last Sunday evening. Clara were in this game at half time when we trailed by just three points on a score line of 0-5 to 0-2.The damage was done in the first five minutes of the second half when St Rynaghs scored 1-2 without reply. Try as hard as we could we never got going after that and were well beaten at the finish on a scoreline of 2-9 to 0-4. The club would like to thank manager David Gavin and his selectors Brian Gavin, Eamon Fleming(Jnr), Mick Coughlan and Chris Flanagan for their great effort during the year. Sponsor a Sod
“Sponsor a Sod”- Clara GAA club would like to invite all current and past members (and anyone with any connection to the club, no matter how tenuous!) to be part of the launch of the new official Clara GAA Club website and the ‘Sponsor a Sod’ campaign. As part of our fund raising campaign to complete the new Championship pitch in Kilcoursey members and friends of the club are invited to sponsor a sod on the new pitch. Sponsors will receive a piece of the virtual pitch on a special page on our new website with each “sod” being added piece by piece to the page.
