Ireland’s Construction and Quarry Machinery Show
Total Lubricants, represented by their Irish distributor partner Finol Oils Ltd. are confirmed as a headline sponsor for CQMS’17 – Ireland’s construction and quarry machinery show. This landmark event which takes place on April 21st and 22nd 2017 at Molloy’s Quarry Tinnycross, Tullamore, Co Offaly is a hub of innovation and new technology and is also backed by AIB Finance and Leasing.
Following the resounding success of Ireland’s Construction and Quarry Machinery Show in 2015, there is a considerable appetite for CQMS’17 which will have 35% more exhibition space and will occupy 100,000 square meters with up to 200 exhibitors, 2 live demonstration zones, a new machinery launch zone, factory visits, the world famous JCB Dancing Diggers and an exciting air show for visitors. Up to 8,000 visitors are expected with a large overseas delegation.

This demonstrative show, supported by the Construction Industry Federation, will bring together the industry leaders in construction and quarrying with a showcase of some €70million worth of new machinery on offer in Ireland. The show will offer buyers and sellers an opportunity to see live demonstrations with latest machinery from manufacturers and a unique opportunity for international buyers to do factory visits. Among the confirmed exhibitors are JCB, Kubota UK, Geith International, Topcon, Jim Macadam Equipment/Case, Sandvik, CDE Global, Whelan Planthire, Renault Trucks Ireland, Rockbreakers, Tesab, MacHale Plant Sales, Whelan Plant Sales/HHIE and many more.

Ireland’s economy is growing at an accelerated pace and all indications are pointing to the construction sector outperforming initial estimates for 2016 and even more so in 2017. The construction sector accounted for approximately 6.9% of GNP in 2014 and is expected to reach a value of 12.5 billion or 7.5 per cent of GNP in 2016. Irish construction activity is increasing at the fastest pace in nearly 16 years.
