Clara now 11/4 from 6/1 to claim first All-Ireland Club SHC title

Thurles Sarsfields 6/4 to claim 2nd Munster Club SHC

The 2015/16 All Ireland Club SHC has already seen some shocks with reigning champions Ballyhale Shamrocks and 2014 Connacht champions Gort already out of the competition.

As a result, Kilkenny side, Clara now head the betting at 11/4 having been priced at 6/1 prior to Gort’s exit. Clara are now odds on at 10/11 from 5/2 to win a first Leinster Club SHC title with their nearest rivals in the betting Wexford side and county champions, Oulart The Ballagh at 7/2.

Sarsfields, who knocked Gort out at the weekend in the Galway Club SHC semi-finals, are now 6/1 from 10/1 whilst their Galway SHC Final opponents Craughwell, who knocked St Thomas’s out also at the weekend, are 5/1 from 10/1 to be crowned All Ireland champions on March 17th.

Liam Glynn, BoyleSports’ spokesperson said: “The 2015/16 All Ireland Club SHC has already seen some surprises with defending champions Ballyhale Shamrocks and 2014 Connacht champions Gort already knocked out of the competition.”

He added “Kilkenny side Clara head the outright betting at 11/4 but its Galway side Sarsfields who won back to back All Ireland titles in 1993 and 1994 that are catching the punters eye at their current price of 6/1.”
