Peninsula Business Services will be hosting a FREE employment advice and networking event in
the Anner Hotel, Dublin Road, Thurles on Thursday 10th September 2015 in an effort to bring local
business together and offer free business support on a subject that applies to decision makers across
all sectors. The event will commence at 8.45am and finish at 11.00am.
The session will examine effective disciplinary procedures and preventative steps to avoid litigation.
The briefing will also explain what procedures you need in place to ensure your business stays legally
compliant. The event will cover the most important aspects of disciplinary procedures, including
effective communication with your managers, common pitfalls of the disciplinary process, the
importance of following a disciplinary process and how to reduce the potential of an unfair dismissal
The event will be presented by one of Peninsula’s senior legislation specialists who will go through
each topic in a manner which is easy to understand and which offers easy to follow advice. Local
Business Development Manager for Peninsula, Douglas Higgins, will also be in attendance on the
morning to answer any questions business owners may have. The event is open to business owners,
