130th Anniversary Celebrations
Clara GAA club will be marking its 130th year this year and to mark the occasion we are having a celebratory night in the GAA Social Centre on Saturday the 13th of December at 9.30pm. On the night we will also be honouring the members of the Clara Junior Hurling team of 1983 that were successful in that year’s Junior Championship. There will also be a Christmas party atmosphere on the night with refreshments and entertainment by Mercury followed by a disco.
In addition, there will be a special guest in attendance to present our Leinster Junior Hurling Champions with their medals. This promises to be a great club night and all members, supporters and friends are invited to attend. We hope to see as many of you as possible on the night to celebrate with us. Tickets can be purchased from any committee member or at the door on the night.
Monster Bingo
We will be having our Christmas Monster Bingo this Sunday night, the 14th of December where over€4,500 in prizes can be won. There will be extra money for certain prizes on the night.
AGM
The Clara GAA AGM will be held on Monday 15th of December in the GAA centre at 8pm. All members are asked to attend.
Carmel Fallon R.I.P.
Clara G.A.A. club would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Carmel Fallon of Tubber. As Principal of St. Francis BNS, Carmel was always a friend of the club and promoted the games within the school. May she rest in peace.

Friday 12th December – Minor Football League – Division 1 Final – Clara v St. Vincents in Croghan at 8pm
Sunday 14th December – Under 16 Football League – Division 1 Final – Clara v St Broughans in Croghan at 10.45am
National Club Draw
Tickets are currently on sale for the GAA National Club Draw. 100% of all money collected goes back into the club and there are some great prizes to be won. Tickets are available from any committee member.

There was no Jackpot winner. There were no 3 match. We had three lucky dip winners who will receive €50 each. They were Michael McKeon, Pat Dalton and Larry Carroll
Next week’s Jackpot is €5,900 and the draw will be held in The GAA Centre at our 130th Anniversary Celebration Night.
