Minor B Hurling Championship – Semi Final
Clara played Coolderry in the Minor B hurling championship today in Rath and lost on a score line of 2-10 to 0-8 having been down 0-4 to 0-1 at half time. The Clara team was Darren Fleming, Nathan Bracken, Martin Fleming, Johnny Hanamy, Callium Egan, Leon Taylor, Ciaran Doyle, Carl Stewart, Dermot Doolan, Alan Gavin, Steven Buckley (0-5 3f), Seamus O’Brien, Mark Newman (0-2), David Newman (0-1), Mark Fallon. Subs. Ryan Kelly for N. Bracken, Conor Egan for M. Fallon.

130^th Anniversary Celebrations
Clara GAA club will be marking its 130^th year this year and to mark the occasion we are having a celebratory night in the GAA Social Centre on Saturday the 13^th of December at 9.30pm. On the night we will also be honouring the members of the Clara Junior Hurling team of 1983 that were successful in that year’s Junior Championship. There will also be a Christmas party atmosphere on the night with refreshments and entertainment by Mercury followed by a disco.

Christmas Fair
There will be a Christmas Fair held in the GAA centre on Saturday 6^th of December from 10am to 6pm. There will be plenty of stalls with lovely gifts for family and friends for Christmas. Santa will be there on the day and the Clara Town Band and Parish Choir will provide entertainment throughout the day. All are welcome to come and have a look around.

AGM
The Clara GAA AGM will be held on Monday 15^th of December in the GAA centre at 8pm. All members are asked to attend.

Wednesday 26^th Nov – Under 16 Football League – Division 1 Semi-Final – Clara v Ballycumber/Tubber in Ballinamere at 7.30pm

Sunday 30^th Nov – Special Junior Leinster Final – Clara v Wolfe Tones (Longford) in Tubber at 2pm

National Club Draw

Tickets are currently on sale for the GAA National Club Draw. 100% of all money collected goes back into the club and there are some great prizes to be won. Tickets are available from any committee member.

There was no Jackpot winner. There were no 3 match. We had three lucky dip winners who will receive €50 each. They were Jack Rabbitte (Yearly Subscriber), Mollie Tracey and Teresa O’Connor.
Next week’s Jackpot is €5,600 and the draw will be held in Cowens.
