Clara played Kilcormac/Killoughey on Thursday night last and won on a score line of 0-9 to 0-2. Senior Football Championship

Clara played Kilcormac/Killoughey tonight in Cloghan in the senior football championship and won on a score line of 6-23 to 0-5. U14 Hurling Championship

Our U14 hurlers started their championship on Friday night last with an impressive win over Gracefield in Clara on a score line of 5-12 to 1-7. The Clara team was: Adam McCloskey, Dean Larkin, Ciaran Ennis, Adam Carroll, Edward Cullen(0-1), Patrick Phelan, Cathal O’Meara(3-7, 0-4frees), Conor Dolan, Lorcan Cornally, Cormac Delaney(0-4), Aodhan Moran(1-0), Ronan Newman(1-0), Shane Gavin, Eoin Gavin and Dillon Taylor.

Clara GAA BBQ

Clara GAA club are hosting a Bar-B-Que on Saturday 2^nd August in honour of the 1954 Junior Football Champions and 1964 Senior Football Champions. It will be held in the GAA Grounds Kilcoursey at 9pm and tickets for the event cost €5. All are welcome to attend.

Lotto results 26/07/14 Numbers drawn were 4-6-18-30. There was no winner of the Jackpot. There was no match 3 winners. The 3 lucky dip winners were: Lionel Rabbitte, C & M c/o Catch Buckle and Phil Bastic. Next week’s draw is for €3,050 and takes place at the club B&B at10pm on Saturday night.
