U16 FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Na Fianna U16 Footballers made it 2 wins out of 3 in the League against Rhode last Tuesday week in Geashill on a scoreline of 0-11 to 0-08 and in doing so brought Rhode’s 100% winning run of 3 wins out of 3 to an end. Na Fianna opened the scoring with the first 3 points before Rhode got off the mark with their first point in the 16th min but Rhode improved for the remainder of the half hitting over 5 points to Na Fianna’s 3 which left the sides level 0-06 apiece at the break. Na Fianna edged ahead with another 3 points to Rhode’s 1 inside the first 10 mins of the second half. Both sides were then held out until the final 10 mins when David Buckley put over the final 2 points for Na Fianna which would prove to be enough to wrap it up as Rhode could only manage 1 point in reply.

Na Fianna Minor Footballers continue their League campaign this Wednesday (30 April) @ 7pm as they take on St Broughans in Clonbullogue (Note Change of Venue). All Support would be appreciated.

U14 FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Na Fianna U14 Footballers continue their League campaign against St Broughans this Friday evening (02 May) @ 7:30pm in Geashill. All Support would be appreciated.

U16 FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Na Fianna U16 Footballers continue their League campaign V St Rynaghs in Geashill next Tuesday (06 May) @ 6:45pm. All Support would be appreciated.

MOUTH-GUARDS
A very important reminder to ALL players at all levels in the Club – From 1st Jan 2014 all players must wear a mouth-guard in all official training sessions and games. A players insurance is null and void if he fails to wear a guard. The club expect 100% compliance.
