Ballyskenagh/Killavilla 4-06

Full Time.

Clara under 14 hurlers made the long trip down to Killavilla earlier today in the first round of the 2014 hurling league. We are struggling with numbers at this grade and only travelled with 11 players. These young men can be immensely proud of themselves as they took on a bigger more physical team in a hurling stronghold down on the border of Tipperary. We let fly from the first minute and timber culd be heard breaking for miles. Determination, aggression, speed, skill and a huge desire to contest every ball and to win most 50/50 balls was what our lads displayed for the full hour. They never held back or stood off the opposition and came out with a massive win. Several of these lads are U12 and this will bring them on a ton. The panel was: Cathal O’Meara, Cormac Delaney, Conor Dolan, Ciaran Ennis, Lorcan Cornally, Shane Gavin, Ronan Newman, Patrick Phelan, Aodhan Moran, Stephen Falsey and Edward Cullen.nghold down on the borders of Tipperary.
