OFFline Film Festival has officially Opened for submissions!
Anyone wishing to submit their short film for consideration go to: OFFline Short Film Competition. Enter to be in with a chance of winning the First Prize of €1,500 worth of film equipment rental and Second prize of €500 worth of film equipment rental.
For those of you interested in entering into the 3 day filmmaking competition during the festival itself, go to: OFFline Filmmaking Competition. First Prize includes €1,500 cash, €3,500 post-production studio and equipment rental, as well as a guaranteed slot in the Galway Film Fleadh in 2014!
Upcoming Events
Tickets are on sale NOW for the Great Gatsby Night, an official fundraiser for OFFline Film Festival. It will be held in under 4 weeks, on Saturday 29th June at The Chestnut in Birr, Co. Offaly. The night starts at 9.30pm with a free glass of bubbly on entry, a live Swing band for the Charleston dancers amongst you, followed by a DJ so you can party ’til the small hours! There will be a photo booth with costume accessories so you can capture the night with your friends. Come in fancy dress to impress! We also have an Open Casting Call for actors aspiring to be on the big screen on Thursday 6th June from 8pm-9.30pm at Birr Theatre and Arts Centre. This is open to all ages, and the audition videos will be included on the actor database for the OFFline Filmmaking Competition. Actors will need to have availability from 9th-13th October 2013 to participate in the filmmaking process.
