Brosna CCE

Well done to Camillius Hiney on his recent television appearance on Geantraí TG4, which was recorded in Egan’s, Moate, Co. Westmeath. The programme was presented by Freda Hatton, in which Camillius, Dave Sheridan,Kenneth Hatton and Freda played two sets on the programme,‘The Wandering Minstrel’ & ‘The Battering Ram’ at the start of the programme and a set of reels ending the programme which included ‘Last-nights Fun’. The programme was aired on 3rd of March, and included Enda Seery and John Byrne, Brendan Doyle, John Duffy and Noel Carberry, Padraic Keena, Sharleen McCaffery Audrey Murphy, Alison Henshaw, Niamh Brett & Neil Fitzgibbon.

Well done also to all the Brosna CCE members who travelled to Midlands 103 FM Radio in Tullamore and recorded a programme with Paddy Duffy on Coppers and Brass, thanks to Paddy and Nellie for their hospitality on the night.

Brosna CCE are now looking forward to Offaly County Fleadh which this year takes place in Kilcomac on May 11th and 12th and being hosted by Ballyboy CCE.

Attention will be turning to Seisiún 2013 which takes place in Tubber Community Hall starting July 3rd.
