The High Kings Get Ready to Entertain at The County Arms Hotel
Ireland’s folk band of the year are set to perform at the County Arms Hotel Birr, Co. Offaly on Thursday November 22nd. Known for their contemporary approach to Irish folk music, The High Kings represent great tradition combined with extraordinary talent.
The High Kings were formed by the creators of Celtic Women, comprising Finbarr Clancy, Brian Dunphy, Martin Furey and Darren Holden. Each member contributes a great legacy of Irish Music. The talented group play 13 instruments in total and bring an individual style to both new songs and classic Irish ballads. The High Kings have achieved worldwide success, performing hundreds of sold out shows since their launch in 2008.

The High Kings first two albums The High Kings & Memory Lane both achieved platinum status. The group have appeared on multiple television shows and also had the great pleasure of performing for the former Irish President Mary McAleese and US President Barack Obama.
