Intermediate Hurling Championship

Clara lost the first round of the Intermediate Hurling Championship on Sunday last to Lusmagh on a score line of 3-22 to 0-10.

Opening Day Programme

Anybody wishing to purchase a souvenir programme for the opening day of the new pitch please contact any member of the committee. The price of a programme is 3 Euro plus postage.

Sponsor a Sod

You can sponsor a sod for 20 Euro. This will help with the development of the field. Anyone wishing to sponsor a sod please contact any member of the committee.

G.A.A. Cul Camp

The G.A.A. Cul Camp is taking place in Clara from 2^nd to 6^th July. The camp is designed to cater for 2^nd to 6^th class pupils, but provisions can be made for a child in 1^st class (only) who is participating in Gaelic games in their local club, and would feel comfortable in such an environment.

The Cul Camp will be held each day, Monday to Friday from 10.00a.m. to 2.30p.m. The cost is €55 for the 1^st child, €45 for the 2^nd child, and €40 for the 3^rd and subsequent children. See promotional packs and book online atwww.kellogsculcamps.gaa.ie

All Ireland Under 14 Football Feile

The All Ireland U14 Football Feile will be held in Laois/Offaly on the w/e of 22^nd to 24^th June. Clara are a host club in Division 1, Group A and the following games will be held in Pairc Phroinsias Clara on 22^nd & 23^rd June.

22^nd June    3.00p.m.  O’Donovan Rossa (Antrim) v Clara

23^rd June   10.00a.m. St. Brigid’s (Dublin) v Clara

23^rd June   11.00a.m. O’Donovan Rossa v Ferbane/Belmont

23^rd June   12.30p.m. St. Brigid’s v O’Donovan Rossa

23^rd June     1.30p.m. Ferbane/Belmont v Clara

The winner of this group will progress to the Semi-Final which will be held in Gracefield on Saturday evening 23^rd June at 5.00p.m. The second Semi-Final will also be held in Gracefield starting at 6.30p.m., with the final of Division 1 taking place in O’Moore Park, Portlaoise on Sunday 24^th June at 3.30p.m.

The best of luck to all teams taking part. We ask all supporters of Clara G.A.A. to come out on Friday afternoon and Saturday to support our Under 14 football team.

Weekly Club Lotto

Weekly Lotto 09/06/2012 -There was no winner of the weekly club Lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 13-16-19-25. There were 5 match 3’s. They were: C Kavanagh, Alan Lynam, Glen Cunningham, Rene Fleming and PJ Murray. Next weeks lotto takes place in Whites and the Jackpot is €4550. Thanks to all who support our lotto and thanks to all our ticket sellers.
