Tullamore Toastmasters embraces Valentines Day!
The last Tullamore Toastmasters club meeting was enjoyed by all who attended. Topicsmaster Gareth Lenehan did a fantastic job creating a vibrant topics session with a diverse range of subjects and surprises derived from fortune cookies. Well done to Jennifer DIllon for completing her level four speech entitled “money can’t buy me love”. Valentines day was a big influence of the night with chocolates being shared amongst members and romantic themed stories. Well done also to John Dolan who entertained fellow toastmasters with his humorous speech entitled “Off the Rails!”
Our next meeting will be taking place on the 23rd Feburary at 8:30pm in Tullamore Court Hotel. We would like to invite guests to come along and see for themselves what happens at Toastmasters. If you’re feeling apprehensive bring a friend along for support but don’t worry you wont be expected to speak on your first night! You’re guaranteed a warm and friendly reception along with a good few laughs from the humorous Tullamore club members.
