Drumcullen GAA Club notes 20th Sept

Camogie: Best of luck to the camogie team who take on Shinrone in the county final this Sunday in St Brendan’s Park in Birr. These two sides are great rivals having met in the final on 14 occasions since the introduction of the Senior Championship in 1993 with Drumcullen winning 10 of those finals. It promises to be a great game and all support for the girls would be greatly appreciated. The game throws in at 3.30pm.
Games in Rath: There are two JHC quarter finals in Rath this weekend. On Saturday at 4pm Shinrone face Ballinamere while on Sunday at 12pm Kilcormac/Killoughey play Kinnitty. All help with stewarding at these games would be greatly appreciated.
Joe Dooley Cup: Well done to all the young players who braved the elements on Saturday to take part in the skills competition for the Joe Dooley Cup. There were some great skills on display from the players ranging from U-14 down to U-10s.
Field Rota: Team 1 (Toni Ryan’s team) are on duty this week.
Lotto Rota: Team 1 (Willie Fleury’s team) are on duty this week.
