Drumcullen GAA Club Notes

SHC: Despite being in the hunt right throughout the game, Drumcullen suffered their second of the championship at the hands of neighbours Kinnitty in Clareen on Saturday evening. The game was in the balance with ten minutes to go but Kinnitty added crucial late points to win 1-11 to 1-7. See report elsewhere. Drumcullen play Shinrone in the next round.
JHC: Drumcullen suffered their second defeat against neighbours Seir Kieran last week on a scoreline of 3-10 to 1-11 and now face an uphill battle to make the quarter finals.
JHC ‘C’: Drumcullen’s chances of making the knock-out stages ended last week after suffering a defeat at the hands of Killuring. Drumcullen 1-15 Killurin 2-15.
U-14: Best of luck to the club’s U-14 hurlers who take on Tullamore in the U-14 B semi-final in Kinnitty at 7pm on Thursday evening.
JFC ‘C’: Drumcullen face Shannonbridge this Sunday at 12pm in Rath. A win would leave the team in a strong position to make the quarter-finals.
Lotto: Numbers drawn were 1, 15, 20 and 21. No jackpot winner. Three match three win €50 each. They are Vonn Mannion, Patrick Deane and Eamon Gleeson. Promoters Prize Mary Murray. Next Jackpot €2,950. Sincere thanks to everyone who supports the lotto and also to the dedicated ticket sellers.
