Drumcullen GAA Club
SHC: Drumcullen finished their SHC campaign with a defeat at the hands of Coolderry on Saturday in Clareen. After a very poor start, the lads rallied strongly and outscored Coolderry from the 10th minute to the end of the game. They showed great battling qualities and showed they have something to build on going into next year.
JFC C: An incredible score of 11-7 against Doon was enough to see the Junior C footballers into the semi-finals of the championship. They will play St Brigid’s in the semi-final in a game provisionally fixed for this Sunday at 12pm in Geashill.
JHC: Drumcullen had a good 4-4 to 0-15 win over neighbours Kilcormac/Killoughey last week scoring 2-2 in each half. A win in their last group game against Shinrone or a K/K defeat against Killeigh will see Drumcullen into the quarter-finals.
