Drumcullen GAA Club Notes 11th July 2011

Lotto: The Lotto jackpot was won again this week with Greg Carroll winning €2,500. The numbers drawn were 4, 9, 15 and 23. Promoter’s prize went to Noel Queegan. Thanks to all who support the lotto on a weekly basis and also to all the ticket sellers. The Lotto can be played on a yearly basis by simply setting up a standing order. Contact any committee member for details.
Results: Goals were the key as Drumcullen made it two wins from two on Friday in the Junior C Football Championship with a one point win (4-5 to 1-13) away to Bracknagh. The side were due to play Clonbullogue last night (Tuesday)
Fixtures: Drumcullen are in action twice in the coming week. On Saturday the Junior C hurlers face Carrig and Riverstown in Rath at 6pm. On Sunday the Junior A hurlers take the long trip to take on Edenderry in a game that throws in at 12pm. Best of luck to both teams.
U-12 Hurling: Well done to a very young U-12 side who also made the trip to Edenderry last Wednesday and came away with a very good win against a bigger and physically stronger side.
U-10 Hurling: The club’s U-10s have their first game of the year when they take on Killavilla in Rath tonight (Wednesday) at 6.30pm.
Lotto Rota: Team 1 (Willie Fleury’s team) is on duty this Saturday.
Field Rota: Team 1 (Toni Ryan’s team) is on duty this week.
