Division 1 Football League Semi Final

Clara lost the semi final of the Division 1 Football League to Ballycumber last Tuesday on a score line of 2-7 to 1-4. The Clara team was: James Kinahan, Liam Monaghan, Scott Brady, Darren Kelly, Deasun Baggot, Peter Flanagan, Eamon Maher, Ross Brady, Kieran O’Meara, Barry Cushen, John Reynolds, Stephen Deehan, Thomas Deehan (0-2, 0-1free), Eoin Brady (1-2, 1-0Pen), Matthew Mitchell. Junior B Hurling Championship

Clara lost to Shamrocks last Saturday on a score line of 3-18 to 1-7. The Clara team was: Derek Handy, Jamie Murray, Kevin Murray, Keir Mannering, Pa Smith, Sean Nolan, Willie Fleming, Eoin Weir (0-5), John Rickard (1-0), Willie Byrne, Ivan Melia (0-2), Michael Mitchell, Derek Coyne, Wayne Flanagan, Nigel McEvoy. Weekly Club Lotto

Weekly Lotto 16/07/2011-There was no winner of the weekly club Lotto jackpot. The winning numbers were 7-13-14-15. There was one match three winner. This was Malites Remo C/O Mary Handy . Next weeks lotto takes place in Careys and the Jackpot is €3950. Thanks to all who support our lotto and thanks to all our ticket sellers.

Clara GAA Golf Classic

The Clara GAA Golf Classic will take place on the 19^th of August in Esker Hills Golf Club. There will be two time slots. 10am – 12Noon and 2pm – 5pm. The format will be a 3 Ball Scramble and the price is €120 per team of 3
