Junior A Football Championship
Clara played Kilcormac/Killoughey last Wednesday night in the second round of the Junior A Football Championship and won on a score line of 2-9 to 0-4. The Clara team was: James Kinahan, Liam Monaghan, Michael Rosney, Bob Mitchell, Enda Dunne, Paul Mitchell, Keir Mannering, Eamon Maher (1-1), John Flattery (0-1), Darren Coughlan, Marius Stones, Pa Smith, Joey Deehan (0-2, 0-1free), Chris Flanagan(1-1), Eoin Brady (0-4). Weekly Club Lotto
Weekly Lotto 09/07/2011-There was no winner of the weekly club Lotto jackpot. The winning numbers were 6-9-20-21. There were five match three winners and they were, Kathleen Bracken, Lena Mulholland, Mary Bracken, Helen Kinahan and Ann O’Reilly. Next weeks lotto takes place in Dolans and the Jackpot is €3800. Thanks to all who support our lotto and thanks to all our ticket sellers.
Br. Urban League
The Br. Urban League continues every Tuesday evening in the Boys School. Please come down and show your support
Clara GAA Golf Classic
The Clara GAA Golf Classic will take place on the 19th of August in Esker Hills Golf Club. There will be two time slots. 10am – 12Noon and 2pm – 5pm. The format will be a 3 Ball Scramble and the price is €120 per team of 3
Munster Hurling Final
The club would like to congratulate Brian Gavin on refereeing the Munster Hurling Final between Tipperary and Waterford last Sunday
