Division 1 Hurling League

Brosna Gaels played Ballinamere in the Division 1 League on Sunday last in Ballycumber, coming out victorious on a scoreline of Brosna Gaels 3-24, Ballinamere 1-08

Brosna Gaels led at half time with points from Des Egan, Thomas Spain, Jason Devery, Richard Fox and Fergal Daly, at half time the score was Brosna Gaels 0-11, Ballinamere 1-06. Ballinamere scored two points in the second half with Brosna Gaels scoring 3-13 in the second half. The starting 15 were as follows: John Egan, Danny Kelleher, Glenn Halligan, Trevor Phelan, Barry Buckley, Chris McDonald, Joe Higgins, Sean Hackett (0-03), Des Egan (0-04), Jason Devery (1-04), Richard Fox (0-03), Thomas Spain (0-03), Fergal Daly (0-04), Kevin Lynam (0-01), Alan Lynam (1-02)

Hurling for National School Children

Indoor Hurling takes place in Ballinahown Hall on Tuesday evenings: U8’s from 6:30 to 7:15pm and over 8’s from 7:15 to 8pm & also in Ballycumber Hall on Thursday from 7 – 8:30pm.

There will be a cost of 1 per child.

Hurling commences in Pullough on Wednesday evening from 6-7pm on the pitch.
