LOTTO
The numbers drawn in last Monday [14th February] night’s Lotto were 15 17 20 28. There was no Jackpot Winner and 1 Match 3 Winner [Alo Dillon C/O Mary Brophill] [€400]. Next weeks Jackpot is €6,400 with the draw taking place in Direen’s, Cloneygowan on Monday 21st February 2011.
DIVISION 1 FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Raheen Intermediate Footballers got their playing campaign for 2011 under way with their opening and toughest of all fixtures in the Division 1 of the Football League against the current Senior Football Champions Rhode last Friday evening in Geashill. Rhode’s greater experience at the highest level was evident throughout as they came away with a comfortable win.

DIVISION 4 FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Raheen Junior Footballers got their Division 4 League campaign off to a winning start with an opening round win over St Brigids in Geashill last Saturday evening on a scoreline of 1-09 to 0-07 but were made to battle all the way. The opening 25 minutes were evenly matched with Raheen getting off the mark with 4 points from Niall Leavy, Darren Monagher (2) and Eoghan Bolton as St Brigids opened their account with 3 points. Then in the 26th minute came the decisive score of the game when Niall Dempsey from out on the wing fed the ball perfectly in to the hands of Eoghan Bolton in the square who blasted his shot past the keeper to the net for the only goal. St Brigids replied with 2 points and so at the break Raheen led by 1-04 to 0-05. The opening 20 minutes of the second half saw Raheen stretch their lead with another 3 points from Eoghan Bolton, Brian Crombie and Darren Monagher to which St Brigids replied with a single point. In the final 5 minutes Raheen wrapped up the win with their final 2 points from Eoghan Bolton and Darren Monagher with just a single point reply from St Brigids

Raheen Intermediate Footballers go in search of their first league win as they continue their Division 1 campaign against St Brigids in Croghan next Tuesday (22nd Feb) at 7:30pm. All support would be appreciated.
