Next Generation Broadband Boost For Fivealley

CLLR John Leahy, Independent candidate in the forthcoming General Election, has welcomed the introduction of Next Generation Broadband to Fivealley, Birr, Co Offaly.
Cllr Leahy believes the move represents a significant boost to the locality. “The service has been upgraded to provide a wider bundle package with greater speed and efficiency and is a major boost to the area in terms of connectivity for business and education, along with personal use and social networking.”
Fighting the cause of rural dwellers and ensuring they’ve the best possible services is a priority for Cllr Leahy.
He stated, “Many of my constituents have expressed their concerns to me in terms of having a more efficient, effective and reliable broadband service. The delivery and availability of quality broadband is essential to everyone in society. And this roll out at Fivealley will benefit businesses and homes in the area.”
Cllr Leahy added, “Over the past number of years the concept of working from home has become increasingly popular. And with the introduction of Next Generation Broadband it will provide the people of Fivealley and environs with the opportunity to operate successfully from home, thereby leading to reduced travel time and cost, and the creation of a smarter and more efficient work force.”
