Weekly Club Lotto
Weekly Lotto 4/09/10-There was no winner of the weekly club Lotto jackpot. The winning numbers were 1-5-12-23. There were five match three winners and they were David Reynolds, Sandra Buckley, Patricia O’Brien, Liz Feery, and Eileen Hughes. Next weeks lotto takes place in The Mill House and the Jackpot is €4440. Thanks to all who support our lotto and thanks to all our ticket sellers.
Bord Na Nog Teen Disco
Teenage Disco next Saturday 11th of September at 8.30pm to 11.30pm in the GAA Social Centre. DJ for the night is DJ Bundyz. Admission is €5 All Welcome
Intermediate Football Championship
Clara intermediate footballers played Shannonbridge last Wednesday the 1st of September in Ferbane. Clara were beaten by Shannonbridge last Wednesday night on a score line of 2-15 to 0-9. Shannonbridge built a commanding lead in the 1st half going in at half time 1-9 to 0-4 ahead. Clara missed a penalty in the second half, which might have brought a recovery, but Shannonbridge went on to run out convincing winners. Clara team J Buckley, F Moran, S Nolan, J Kinahan, K Mannerings, D Coughlan (0-1), C Sheridan, M Meehan, J Taylor (0-4), N Mc Evoy, M Deehan, C Flanagan, W Flanagan, P Moran (0-1) and M Carragher (0-3).
U12 Football Final
Best of luck to the Clara U12 footballers who play Ferbane in the county football championship final. The final is in O’Connor Park this Sat The 11th of September at 11am. Please come support the lads and wear your Black and Whites!
Senior Football Championship
Clara senior Footballers play Tubber in the Quarterfinal of the 2010 championship next Sunday the 12th of September at 5.30pm in O’Connor Park.

“Sponsor a Sod”- Clara GAA club would like to invite all current and past members (and anyone with any connection to the club, no matter how tenuous!) to be part of the launch of the new official Clara GAA Club website and the ‘Sponsor a Sod’ campaign. As part of our fund raising campaign to complete the new Championship pitch in Kilcoursey members and friends of the club are invited to sponsor a sod on the new pitch. Sponsors will receive a piece of the virtual pitch on a special page on our new website with each “sod” being added piece by piece to the page.
